Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy Services team at 36402 Atrium Health Cabarrus. You will deliver oxygen therapy, manage ventilators, document care in the EMR, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications include NBRC RRT, current license, BLS, and graduation from an approved RT program with an associate degree. Night shift 7p–7a, 24 hours weekly; sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required (or equivalent).
• Credentialed as an RRT by NBRC is required.
• Current state license as Respiratory Care Practitioner/LRT.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and corresponding equipment.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and performs diagnostic procedures per policy.
• Operates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes care plan recommendations.
• Documents therapy and results in the EMR; communicates with the healthcare team.
• Performs blood gas analysis and interprets results.
• Works independently across patient care areas and supports teammates.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
