C12-Quantum-Electronics in Paris is seeking a senior R&D leader to head the nano-assembly team of 3 engineers, developing and operating our nano‑assembly setups for transferring ultra‑pure carbon nanotubes onto quantum processor microchips to push forward scalable quantum hardware.

You will drive continuous improvement of vacuum systems, design and validate mechanical, electrical and chemical processes, work with the software team on control and data analysis, and present findings to align with

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in R&D or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science or related field.
• Experience managing R&D engineers and organizing their work.
• Some project management experience and strong data analysis skills.
• Experience in hardware and experimental setup design and fabrication.

Responsabilités

• Continuous improvement of nano-assembly vacuum setups for throughput and yield.
• Design and validation of mechanical, electrical and chemical processes to optimize qubit quality.
• Collaborate with the software team to improve control software, data storage and data analysis.
• Analyze, summarize and present data to stakeholders.
