C12, based in Paris, is shaping the future of quantum technology. You will lead the nano-assembly team and drive the development and operation of nano-assembly setups for transferring ultra-pure carbon nanotubes onto quantum processor microchips.

We seek someone with at least 3 years in R&D or a PhD in relevant fields, with experience managing engineers and strong Python skills for hardware control and data analysis. English communication and meticulous documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in R&D or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science or related field
• Experience in managing R&D engineers and organizing their work
• Project management experience and hardware/experimental setup design
• Strong data collection, organization and analysis skills
• Proficient in Python for hardware control and data analysis
• Detail-oriented and organized in work and documentation
• Good communication in English (oral and written)

Responsabilités

• Lead the nano-assembly team of 3 research engineers
• Develop and operate nano-assembly setups for transferring ultra-pure carbon nanotubes onto quantum processor microchips
• Improve vacuum setups for throughput and yield
• Design and validate mechanical/electrical/chemical processes to optimize qubit quality
• Collaborate with software team to enhance control software, data storage and analysis
• Analyze, summarize and present data
