C12 Quantum Electronics, based in Paris, seeks a Head of Nanofabrication to own strategy, development, and execution of nanofabrication activities from current wafer production to next-generation processes. You will lead a growing team and align with CTO and production teams to realize the quantum technology roadmap.

The role emphasizes building robust processes, improving yield, and partnering with external foundries and collaborators, in a fast-moving, research-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in nanofabrication and cleanroom processes.
• Proven track record of leading technical teams in complex R&D or prototyping environments.
• Ability to set direction, make trade-offs and rely on domain experts.
• Experienced in driving new process development and establishing robust production discipline.
• Strong data-driven mindset and capability to build process learning structures.
• Adaptable to fast-moving environments where priorities shift.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive C12’s nanofabrication strategy balancing technology development, process maturity and production needs.
• Lead yield improvement efforts and next-generation fabrication processes into production.
• Build a scalable nanofabrication organization with strong process control and data documentation.
• Guide the team through technical challenges and ensure fast, structured problem resolution.
• Recruit, develop and empower a growing team of nanofabrication engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate on equipment strategy and tool procurement with Operations and CTO.
• Work with external foundries and partners to support C12’s technology roadmap.
