Job summary

C12 Quantum Electronics is seeking a hands-on engineer to join the nanoassembly team in Paris. You will develop and operate the custom vacuum setup to transfer ultra-pure carbon nanotubes onto microchips to create qubits.

The role emphasizes experimental design, data-driven optimization, and close collaboration with software and fabrication teams. Preferred candidates hold an engineering diploma or Master’s in related fields, with strong lab experience, data analysis, and English communication

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science or related field.
• PhD or relevant work experience appreciated.
• Strong hands-on lab experience and hardware familiarity required.
• Good data collection, organization and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve the nano-assembly vacuum setup.
• Design and validate experimental protocols to optimise nano-assembly success rates.
• Optically inspect, clean and characterize silicon chips.
• Collaborate with software team to improve control software and data storage.
