IXO Labs is seeking a mathematics educator to create teaching scenarios that test both mathematical correctness and the quality of explanations offered to a learner.

Responsibilities include writing worked solutions with explicit reasoning, providing reference answers with instructional analysis, exposing misconceptions, and grading material against explicit criteria. This remote, asynchronous engagement pays USD per hour.

Qualifications

• A teaching license or certification with a mathematics endorsement.
• Two years of classroom mathematics teaching.
• Depth from foundational numeracy to advanced coursework.
• Clear written English and availability for at least ten hours per week.

Required experience and preparation

A teaching license or certification with a mathematics endorsement, two years of classroom mathematics teaching, and depth from foundational numeracy to advanced coursework. Clear written English and availability for at least ten hours per week are required.

Preferred experience

AP, IB or equivalent courses, mathematics competitions or team advising, curriculum writing or assessment design.

Deliverables and engagement

Deliverables include scenario briefs, reference responses, evaluation criteria and documented model-output reviews. Work is remote and asynchronous; IXO will agree the scope and schedule before assignments begin.

Pay

Pay is $50 • $85/hr in USD. IXO will agree the scope, deliverables and schedule before work begins.
