ixolabs.ai is seeking a remote, asynchronous educator to model reading instruction and provide targeted feedback on student compositions. You will deliver reference answers, justify instructional reasoning, and ensure feedback is actionable for teachers and learners.

This role requires an English/language-arts teaching endorsement, 2 years of classroom English teaching, and strong writing instruction experience. Availability of at least 10 hours per week is expected.

• Clear written English and availability for at least ten hours per week.

Create IXO cases about teaching reading and writing, including feedback that helps a student make a specific improvement.

Responsibilities

• Model reading instruction and feedback on student composition.
• Write reference answers explaining the instructional reasoning and relevant evidence.
• Check literary accuracy and whether the feedback provides usable teaching guidance.
• Grade generated material against explicit criteria and explain consequential errors.
• Refine the scenario and rubric so another educator can apply the same standard.

Required experience and preparation

An English or language-arts teaching endorsement, two years of classroom English teaching, and expertise in writing instruction, literature and composition feedback. Clear written English and availability for at least ten hours per week are required.

Preferred experience

AP, IB or comparable advanced teaching, advising journalism/yearbook/creative writing, or experience teaching English learners.

Deliverables and engagement

Deliverables include scenario briefs, reference responses, evaluation criteria and documented model-output reviews. Work is remote and asynchronous; IXO will agree the scope and schedule before assignments begin.

Pay is $40 $70/hr in USD. IXO will agree the scope, deliverables and schedule before work begins.
