Description du poste

Paris | Full-time | Hospitality experience required

FrogPubs runs eight pubs in France. We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager who has already worked in hospitality, restaurants, bars, hotels or another customer-facing multi-site business.

This is an operational role, not a remote digital-marketing role. You will spend significant time in the pubs, including some evenings and weekends, and you will be responsible for turning marketing plans into activity that actually happens in the venues and helps drive sales.

What you will do
  • Build and run the marketing calendar: Plan the year around sport, Christmas, major events, terraces, food and drink offers, private bookings, local opportunities and venue-specific needs. Turn the plan into clear weekly and monthly actions.
  • Be present in the pubs: Spend regular time in the venues, including some evenings and weekends. See what is working, what customers respond to, whether campaigns are being executed properly, and where individual pubs need support.
  • Run campaigns from start to finish: Set the objective and offer, write a clear brief, coordinate design, CRM, digital advertising, website, social, screens and POS, make sure the pubs are ready, then review the result.
  • Manage print and digital advertising: Control the paid-media budget, printing, and any specialist supplier. Know what we spend, why we spend it, what each campaign is expected to achieve and what result it delivered.
  • Manage CRM and loyalty: Manage the external part-time CRM/loyalty manager and use ObyPay and the customer database to grow membership, increase identified transactions and bring customers back more often.
  • Manage website, social and local visibility: Keep the website accurate and useful, maintain local listings and Google Business Profiles, and ensure social media reflects what is actually happening in the pubs. Manage the part-time content creator.
  • Manage suppliers properly: Brief designers, digital specialists, photographers, printers and other suppliers clearly. Agree costs before work starts, avoid rework and keep FrogPubs in control of all accounts, data, files and access rights.
  • Report simply and commercially: Produce one short monthly report: what we spent, what we did, what happened, what worked, what did not, and what we will change next month. Focus on sales, bookings and customer behaviour - not vanity metrics.

What we are looking for

  • Previous marketing experience in hospitality, restaurants, bars, hotels, leisure or another multi-site consumer business is essential.
  • Experience working with physical venues and local trading teams.
  • Commercially minded and comfortable being judged on sales, bookings and customer behaviour, not marketing activity alone.
  • Able to run campaigns from idea through to execution in the venues.
  • Good at briefing, prioritising and managing suppliers.
  • Comfortable with CRM, digital advertising, social media, websites and basic marketing reporting, without needing to be a technical specialist.
  • Fluent French and English.
  • Based in or around Paris and willing to work some evenings and weekends when the business requires it.
MARKETING MANAGER - KPIs

Contribution to achieving the annual sales budget, with major campaigns linked to clear commercial objectives.

For each major campaign: objective, spend, result and a short post-campaign review completed.

100% of paid-media spend reconciled monthly. No unexplained supplier or agency costs.

Share of transactions linked to ObyPay loyalty customers. Current target: 30% within six months.

5. Loyalty growth and activity

Track active loyalty members, new members, repeat visits and spend per identified customer.

6. Booking and enquiry conversion

Track confirmed bookings or meaningful enquiries generated from the website and campaigns, not just clicks.

Regular venue visits, with every pub visited routinely and key campaigns correctly implemented in all relevant venues.

8. Budget control

Annual marketing spend delivered within agreed budget, with material variances explained in advance.

  • Get complete control and visibility over all marketing spend, suppliers, contracts and account access.
  • Increase the share of transactions linked to loyalty customers towards the 30% target.
  • Replace activity-heavy reporting with a simple monthly view of spend -> customer action -> booking/transaction -> revenue.
  • Create a disciplined campaign calendar and make sure campaigns are properly executed in the pubs.
  • Build a regular presence in the venues and use what is happening on the ground to shape marketing decisions.
