Wandercraft seeks a researcher/engineer to advance whole-body control for exoskeletons and humanoid robots in Paris, from mathematical formulation to real-robot deployment. You will tackle locomotion, manipulation and multi-contact control with emphasis on robustness and real‑time execution.
Working closely with control, mechanical, electronics, perception and software teams, you will implement trajectory optimization, estimation, and learning-based approaches when relevant while writing
Within Wandercraft’s Whole Body Control team, you will develop control algorithms for exoskeletons and humanoid robots, from mathematical formulation and simulation to deployment and validation on real robots.
You will work on challenging robotics problems involving locomotion, manipulation, multi-contact control and whole-body motion generation, with a strong focus on robustness, performance and real-time execution.
Reporting to the Head of Whole Body Control, you will work closely with other control engineers as well as the mechanical, electronics, perception and software teams.
