Wandercraft is seeking a skilled control engineer to advance whole-body control for exoskeletons and humanoid robots. You will formulate, simulate, deploy and validate algorithms on real hardware, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across robotics disciplines.
Your work will span floating-base robot control, trajectory optimization and learning-based approaches where relevant, with a focus on robustness and real-time execution. Strong coding skills in C++/Python are essential.
Within Wandercraft’s Whole Body Control team, you will develop control algorithms for exoskeletons and humanoid robots, from mathematical formulation and simulation to deployment and validation on real robots.
You will work on challenging robotics problems involving locomotion, manipulation, multi-contact control and whole-body motion generation, with a strong focus on robustness, performance and real-time execution.
Reporting to the Head of Whole Body Control, you will work closely with other control engineers as well as the mechanical, electronics, perception and software teams.
