Job summary

Qonto in Paris is seeking a Lead EDD to provide operational leadership for the Enhanced Due Diligence production team. You will translate requirements into day-to-day practices and collaborate with KYC/KYB, Operations and AFC stakeholders to ensure rigorous and timely decisions.

You will build and coach a growing team, monitor AI-assisted EDD activity, and drive continuous improvement of workflows while maintaining strong controls and clear production visibility.

Qualifications

• Solid KYC/AML, EDD or related financial-crime experience, including hands-on production work.
• Ability to apply KYC/KYB and AML/CFT requirements to complex customer profiles.
• Production management with KPI-driven delivery and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead EDD production team, organize daily workloads, monitor backlog and output, and set KPI-based targets.
• Provide second opinions and four-eyes checks, guide investigations and risk assessments, and support high-risk cases.
• Improve review quality and balance thoroughness with timely delivery as capacity grows.
• Maintain customer experience by coordinating with customer-facing and Operations teams to reduce delays while enforcing controls.
• Onboard and coach team members, handle spikes, and grow team autonomy.
