Job summary

Qonto in Paris is seeking a Lead Banking Operations – Debt Collection to build and scale our debt recovery function. You will steer the recovery provider and BPO, own the debt collection rate, and report to Justine, Head of Banking Operations Payments.

You’ll map the collection flow, use data to drive initiatives, lead a growing team, and collaborate with Risk and Product to embed collection in new features. The role offers hands-on leadership in a fast-growing fintech with Europe-wide markets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on debt collection experience with client conversations.
• Experience leading a team in debt collection or customer care.
• Strong numerical abilities to monitor KPIs and drive fixes.
• Familiarity with AI tools and applying them to operations.
• Ability to start from a blank page and create structure.

Responsibilities

• Map and rebuild the collection flow to fix missing steps.
• Own the debt collection rate using data-driven initiatives.
• Lead and grow the team, set rituals and improve performance.
• Steer external partners and hold them to quality and results.
• Shape new credit products early by embedding collection in new features.
