Job summary

Qonto is seeking a Lead EDD to provide operational leadership for Enhanced Due Diligence. You will translate requirements into day-to-day practices, support regulatory and project teams, and help build a growing EDD production team with strong KPIs.

You will report to Florence Cervoni, Anti-Financial Crime Director (Western Europe), and collaborate with KYC/KYB, Operations, and Security to improve risk management and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Solid KYC/AML and EDD experience with hands-on production work.
• Apply KYC/KYB and AML/CFT requirements to complex profiles.
• Organize work, monitor backlog and capacity, improve delivery using KPIs.
• Guide colleagues and develop team through practical feedback.
• Collaborate across teams to reduce customer friction while maintaining controls.
• Seek better workflows and confidently use EDD tools, including AI.
• Fluent in English and French; other European language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead production with rigor: organize daily workloads, monitor cases, backlog, and output; establish KPIs.
• Provide second opinions, four-eyes checks, and risk assessments; support high-risk cases.
• Deepen customer-profile reviews and improve consistency as capacity grows.
• Coordinate with customer-facing and Operations teams to clarify EDD requests.
• Onboard and coach team members; step in during spikes or gaps.
• Improve EDD workflows and handoffs with KYC/KYB and Operations; embed changes.
• Monitor AI-assisted EDD activity and coordinate improvements with Security.
