Job summary

Qonto in Paris is seeking a Lead Banking Operations, Cards to keep card disputes and fraud under control across Qonto’s European markets. You’ll lead a 7-person team and run the full chargeback chain, guiding strategy with automation and AI, under the guidance of Justine, Head of Banking Operations Payments.

You’ll collaborate with Customer Care, AML & Fraud, Risk & Compliance, Product and Ops Engineering to optimize operations and scale processes while maintaining performance against SLAs.

Qualifications

• Led an operational banking/payments team for 3+ years.
• Owned KPIs and SLA management with capacity planning.
• Strong analytical skills for high-value cases and risk controls.
• Experience using AI tools to automate operations.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a 7-person analyst team.
• Own card disputes end-to-end under Mastercard/PSD2 rules.
• Maintain SLAs and manage backlog from live data.
• Scale operations with BPO, automation and AI.
• Collaborate with Customer Care, AML, Risk & Compliance, Product and Ops Eng.
