BE Consultancy Group is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager in Strasbourg to lead end-to-end IT service operations across a complex multi-platform environment. The role focuses on availability, security, and compliance with ITIL/ITSM standards in an international setting.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in IT and 5+ years in senior IT operations leadership, with fluent English and readiness to base in Strasbourg or relocate.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily IT infrastructure and service operations across Linux and Windows servers, middleware, databases, virtualization, storage, backup and cloud/hybrid environments.
• Ensure operational processes and service delivery align with ITIL v4, NIST CSF, security and compliance requirements.
• Oversee Incident, Problem, Change and Request Management using ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform(s) and lead RCA for major incidents.
• Drive infrastructure lifecycle management: patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, endpoint hardening and configuration compliance.
• Monitor service performance and deliver SLA, KPI, and operational reporting to client stakeholders and governance bodies.
• Drive improvements in monitoring and observability using Dynatrace, AppDynamics and Splunk.
• Manage workforce planning: shift coverage, on-call organization, allocation and performance.
• Represent IT Operations during project planning, readiness and build-to-run transitions.
• Lead SIPs and continuous improvement with Lean, Agile and DevOps.
• Manage relationships with vendors including Oracle, IBM, VMware and infrastructure providers.
• Ensure strong operational security posture and address risks.

For an international organization in Strasbourg, France, we are urgently looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead and continuously improve IT service operations across a complex, multi-platform infrastructure environment.

European candidates are welcome to apply! Candidates must be based in Strasbourg or willing to relocate to Strasbourg. Consultants based in Strasbourg can also work partially from home.

As IT Operations Manager, you will provide senior operational leadership across infrastructure, platforms, IT service management, security and service delivery, ensuring high availability, operational excellence and compliance with agreed service levels and security standards.

This is a senior position requiring strong experience in IT Operations Management, ITIL-based service delivery, infrastructure operations and stakeholder management.

Candidates must be fluent in English.

Security Clearance Requirements

• Meet the required EU citizenship/nationality criteria for at least 10 years;
• Hold, or be eligible and willing to obtain, a Personal Security Clearance (PSC) in accordance with applicable EU or national security requirements;
• Have the legal right to work in France. Work permit sponsorship is not provided.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT infrastructure and service operations across Linux and Windows servers, middleware, databases, virtualization, storage, backup and cloud/hybrid environments;
• Ensure operational processes and service delivery are aligned with ITIL v4, NIST CSF, security and compliance requirements;
• Oversee Incident, Problem, Change and Request Management, using ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms, and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents and recurring issues;
• Drive infrastructure lifecycle management, including patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, endpoint hardening and configuration compliance;
• Monitor service performance and deliver SLA, KPI, operational and service-quality reporting to client stakeholders and internal governance;
• Drive improvements in monitoring and observability, using solutions such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics and Splunk;
• Manage operational workforce planning, including shift coverage, on-call organization, task allocation and performance monitoring;
• Represent IT Operations during project planning, operational readiness and build-to-run/service transition activities;
• Lead Service Improvement Plans (SIPs) and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Agile and DevOps principles;
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and support partners, including Oracle, IBM, VMware and infrastructure hardware providers;
• Ensure a strong operational security posture and proactively address operational, technical and service-delivery risks.

IT Operations Manager Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field;
• 10+ years of professional IT experience, with strong exposure to enterprise infrastructure and IT service operations;
• 5+ years of IT Operations Management or senior operational leadership experience;
• Strong knowledge of ITIL-based IT Service Management (ITSM) and enterprise service delivery;
• Experience managing complex, multi-platform infrastructure environments;
• Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change and Request Management;
• Experience managing SLAs, KPIs, service reporting and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Good understanding of infrastructure security, vulnerability management and operational compliance;
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills;
• Experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams and external vendors;
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification is required;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

• ISO/IEC 27001 experience or certification;
