Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse is seeking a junior IT Operations Manager to support the IT infrastructure for Satellite and ground segments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science or IT)
• Experience with IT operations, service delivery or infrastructure is preferred
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and cross-functional collaboration

Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an IT Operations Manager junior h/f to join our team based in Toulouse, France.

What does this mean for you?

You will join a team of 14 people within the Digital Infrastructure department in Toulouse (Palays site)

You will be responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure that directly support the Space business (Satellite on-boarded software, satellite operations, ground segments).

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the stability and evolution of our IT services. You will be responsible for coordinating operational activities and managing technical projects to ensure high service availability and alignment with business needs. You will act as a bridge between IT technical teams and Business stakeholders, ensuring that IT operations run smoothly and projects are delivered on time.

This activity is manage using Agile methodology (Scrum and Kanban).

Your Challenges:

You will contribute to the following main activities:

• IT Operations Management: Monitor service levels (SLAs), manage incident escalations, and ensure the stability of the production environment.
• Project Management: Coordinate technical projects from planning to deployment, manage timelines, and ensure communication between cross-functional teams.
• Service Improvement & Governance: Identify operational bottlenecks, propose automation or optimization workflows, and produce performance reports (KPIs).
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a point of contact for business users and technical teams, ensuring requirements are understood and operational needs are met.
