Job summary

Moncler is seeking an Intern Assistant Retail Merchandising & Buying EMEA for Grenoble lines/E-Concessions. You will support the product strategy for EMEA during peak seasons and monitor stock optimization to maximize sales performance.

Your role includes assisting with store openings, pop-ups, and trunk shows, analyzing trends, and preparing buying files. Fluency in English and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in business/management school with an internship in allocation or retail merchandising.
• Autonomous and proactive mindset.
• Rigorous and analytical with advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
• Passion for luxury and retail with strong product sensibility.

Responsibilities

• Stock Level Optimization across the network, focusing on ski resort locations.
• Support special projects: store openings, pop-ups, trunk shows, stock transfers and visual merchandising support.
• Collect product feedback and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for new season collections.
• Assist with buying sessions: analysis, buying files preparation, orders input.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support the retail merchandising manager.

Intern Assistant Retail Merchandising & Buying EMEA – GRENOBLE lines/E-CONCESSIONS

Provide support in developing the product strategy for EMEA of Grenoble lines and E-Concessions in the peak season and consistently monitor business performance and stock optimization to maximize sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock Level Optimization: Analyze selling trends, identify slow-moving items, and initiate actions to rebalance stock across the network, with a focus on ski resort locations to optimize sell-through.
• Special Projects Support: Assist with new store openings, pop-up events, and trunk shows by preparing booklets, managing stock transfers, and providing visual merchandising support.
• Product Feedback and Market Analysis: Collect product feedback from stores, stay updated on business trends and competitor offerings, and identify business opportunities to aid in the development of new season collections.
• Support Buying Sessions: analysis, buying files preparation, orders input.
• Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting: Full support of retail merchandising manager in creation of performance reports and sales analysis to support the business

Profile :

• Business or Management school curriculum with a first internship realized in allocation or retail merchandising department
• Autonomous and Initiative approach
• Rigorous and analytical (advanced level of Excel is a must)
• Fluent in English (written and oral)
• Product sensitivity and passion for Luxury and Retail.
