Job summary

Scaleway is expanding its SRE team to build reliable, observable, and secure infrastructure that supports customers worldwide. You will design and maintain tooling for monitoring, diagnosis, and remediation of incidents, while collaborating with product teams to ensure service continuity and scalable architectures.

The role emphasizes on-call readiness, strong scripting, and hands-on Linux in production, with hybrid work options and opportunities across international teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable, observable infrastructure.
• Hands-on with Linux in production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud infra and orchestration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and code deployment processes.
• Ability to document procedures and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize tooling to automate monitoring, diagnosis, and remediation of production incidents
• Troubleshoot high-impact production issues in collaboration with other engineering teams
• Participate in an on-call rotation to handle incidents and ensure service continuity
• Implement and maintain observability solutions to monitor infrastructure and application health
• Contribute to infrastructure lifecycle management across environments
• Promote stability, resiliency, scalability, and security best practices
• Maintain technical documentation for tools and procedures
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure readiness
• Participate in team rituals and knowledge-sharing initiatives
