Job summary

IMG, a leading global sports marketing agency, is seeking a senior sponsorship sales professional for the EuroLeague project. The role focuses on generating global partnership opportunities, driving category expansion, and managing a robust pipeline across continental Europe while collaborating with the pre-GTM team and IMG’s Euroleague teams.

The successful candidate will leverage a strong network in Europe, deep digital marketing knowledge, and proven ability to close six- to seven-figure

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in partnership sales with a track record of closing six- to seven-figure deals.
• Proven success winning brand and agency partners through a structured, pipeline-led approach.
• Solid network of brands in Europe.
• Experience working with a rights holder to grow business development goals.
• Strong understanding of the digital marketing space.
• Knowledge of the European basketball landscape is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strong sponsorship results for the EuroLeague project at global level.
• Identify new categories, prospects, and revenue lines for the project.
• Proactively build and manage a pipeline of brand prospects across continental Europe, focused on global deals.
• Drive outbound activity—calls, meetings, industry conferences and events—to generate commercial conversations.
• Present bespoke partnership proposals to IMG & Euroleague with credibility to senior decision-makers.
• Establish an effective reporting structure for leads and sales with Euroleague and IMG.
• Maintain CRM and pipeline forecasting accuracy; ensure up-to-date records.
• Monitor the market, competitors and brand activity to identify new opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with the EuroLeague team based in Barcelona.
