Inbolt is seeking a Financial Controller to join the finance team in Paris. You’ll own month-end close across multiple entities, analyze performance against budget, and prepare monthly reports for management, the board and investors.

You’ll also drive budgeting cycles, improve processes, and take over bookkeeping tasks from the external accountant over 12–18 months. The role requires 3–4 years in controlling or accounting, fluency in French and English, and proficiency with ERP systems and

Qualifications

• 3-4 years in controlling, accounting or audit, ideally mix of advisory and in-house.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (DCG, DSCG, Master CCA or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of French GAAP, financial statements and month-end mechanics.
• Comfortable with financial analysis and budget tracking.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP software (Pennylane, Sage, NetSuite or similar).
• Fluent in French and English; you’ll work with US and Japanese teams.

Responsabilités

• Own the month-end close: cost allocations, accruals, prepaids and intercompany across France, US and Japan.
• Analyze performance vs budget; explain variances to VP Finance and leadership.
• Prepare monthly reporting package (P&L, cash, KPIs) for management, board and investors.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Invoice customers and monitor collections; follow up on overdue payments with Sales and Deployment.
• Prepare supplier and payroll-related bank payments.
• Track documents and drive the team to keep them clean.
• Improve internal finance processes and tooling; explore AI for automation.
• Take over bookkeeping from external accountant over 12-18 months; support audit, tax and grant requests.
