Job summary

Rapid Micro Biosystems seeks a Field Service Manager for EU and APAC to lead a geographically dispersed team of field service engineers and ensure world-class service, support, and customer satisfaction. You will promote operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and proactive maintenance across EU and APAC regions.

Responsibilities include coaching, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Quality, and Product Support to optimize service delivery and product reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of field service experience with at least 3+ years in leadership, preferably EU/APAC.
• Experience managing multi-country teams in cross-cultural environments.
• Strong understanding of laboratory automation or regulated technical products.
• Proven track record of driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Field Service Engineers across EU & APAC.
• Set objectives, monitor KPIs, and drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure timely field service delivery: installations, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
