Mistral AI in Paris seeks a Banking/Financing Legal Counsel to partner with our corporate and finance teams. You will structure, draft, and negotiate financing transactions that fuel external growth, including compute infrastructure, data centers, and strategic acquisitions.

This role requires 7+ years of legal experience (4+ at an international firm), fluency in English and French, and deep knowledge of LMA documentation and project finance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of legal experience, including 4+ years in an international law firm.

Responsabilités

• Structure, draft, negotiate, and close non-dilutive financing transaction documentation.
• Act as the primary legal contact for banking and financing counterparties, using LMA-standard documentation.
• Advise on financing structures for data center and compute infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with external law firms on cross-border financing and manage multi-jurisdictional transaction teams.
• Partner with Finance, M&A, Compute, and Business teams to support deal-specific financing structures.
• Provide practical, hands-on legal guidance that enables the business to move fast while mitigating legal risks.
• Build and maintain internal templates, precedents, and guidelines for financing documentation.
• Support on ancillary legal topics including corporate compliance, insurance, and Sapin II-related matters.
