Mistral AI is seeking a Senior Commercial Legal Counsel to join our Paris or London team. You will oversee the EMEA commercial legal function, draft and negotiate AI‑related contracts, and guide compliance with evolving AI regulations.

You will partner with product, procurement, and GTM teams to enable responsible revenue growth. The role requires 8–10 years of relevant legal experience in tech/AI, a Master in law, and strong analytical and communication skills to operate across multiple

Qualifications

• Master degree in law; bar admission is a plus.
• 8–10 years of relevant legal experience in tech or AI-focused environments.
• Knowledge of AI technologies and related laws (data privacy, IP, liability, regulatory compliance).
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills; attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; business-oriented.
• International experience is a plus.
• Adaptability and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ethical awareness in AI, including fairness and transparency.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the EMEA commercial legal team and provide escalation support.
• Draft and negotiate AI-related contracts and commercial agreements.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters affecting deals.
• Stay updated on AI regulatory developments and translate into contract terms.
• Provide training on legal and compliance matters to the business.
