Mistral, a Paris/London based AI company, seeks a Senior Commercial Legal Counsel to join the Legal team and focus on contracts and commercial topics. You will draft and negotiate contracts and terms to enable deal making and revenue generation, guiding adaptation to evolving AI regulation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law and bar admission preferred.
• Strong experience negotiating complex contracts and licenses within AI/tech.
• Deep understanding of data privacy, IP, contract law and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the EMEA commercial legal team: case monitoring, first point of escalation, decision‑making support, team coordination.
• Drive the development of structural resources for the commercial legal team and for other stakeholders (GTM teams, procurement, etc.).
• Draft, update and provide strategic advice on a wide range of contracts, including AI‑related service agreements.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, partners, customers and other stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest products and AI‑related legal and regulatory developments and translate into contract adaptation and negotiation.
• Provide training and support to the business on legal and compliance matters related to AI and on contract negotiation.
