Job summary

Retailors France is seeking a Payroll Specialist to deliver proactive, employee-focused payroll services across France. You will own end-to-end monthly payroll for France, manage DSN submissions, payroll inputs, and compliance with local regulations, while collaborating with HR and Finance partners to ensure accurate payroll outcomes.

Fluent French and professional English, 3-5 years’ experience in French payroll, and advanced Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on payroll experience in France.
• Strong knowledge of French payroll legislation and DSN reporting.
• Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Workday, SAP, Sage, Silae).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end monthly payroll process for France, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collect and validate payroll inputs including salaries, deductions, benefits, overtime, and social contributions.
• Manage DSN submissions and related statutory reporting.
• Review payslips and outputs for accuracy and compliance with French law.
• Process lifecycle events (hiring, terminations, changes) and salary updates.
• Coordinate payroll closing activities and distribution of payslips.
• Support absence processes (sickness, maternity/paternity, leave).
• Serve as a point of contact for employees, HR, Finance and payroll providers.
