OpenAI in Paris seeks a Strategy and Operations lead to shape country plans, align cross‑functional teams, and drive initiatives from insight to impact. You will own regional growth with a consumer focus while enabling scalable approaches for OpenAI’s European expansion.

This individual‑contributor role requires hands‑on execution, urgency, and the ability to influence without formal authority, with relocation support and a hybrid work model enabling frequent collaboration with local teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in growth, strategy, business operations or quantitative analytics with meaningful responsibility for outcomes
• Developed country/regional strategies and translated into focused execution plans
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including forecasting, financial modeling and growth metrics
• Proven ability to take initiatives from insight through launch and measurement
• Deep understanding of European markets with scalable regional perspective
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders and influence without formal authority
• Operate with ownership and urgency in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments
• Strong alignment with OpenAI's mission and interest in AI

Responsabilités

• Build country strategies: develop plans, priorities and forecasts for key European markets and translate company strategy into practical local action
• Drive growth and conversion: use data, customer insight and experimentation to improve acquisition, engagement, retention, conversion and monetization
• Lead market expansion and localization: identify opportunities, build scalable launch frameworks and determine where products and go-to-market should adapt
• Turn strategy into execution: personally move initiatives from diagnosis and prioritization through delivery, measurement and iteration
• Lead cross-functional teams: align Product, Growth, Marketing, Brand, Partnerships, Finance, Research, Operations and Compliance around shared outcomes
• Represent regional insight: ensure European market and customer perspectives shape global roadmaps and decisions
• Measure and scale impact: define success metrics and determine when a successful local approach should be replicated
