OpenAI in Paris seeks a Manager of Applied AI Architects to lead senior technical leaders responsible for technical strategy, customer journey, and measurable value across South EMEA. You will define operating models, prioritize customer portfolios, and ensure adoption from discovery to production.

You will also coach, hire, and develop the team, collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering. This role is based in Paris with a hybrid work model (3 days in the office) and relocation

Qualifications

• Deep technical acumen across modern AI systems and deployment
• 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles with enterprise experience
• 4+ years of people-management experience leading technical teams
• Experience guiding enterprise organizations from discovery to production adoption
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance regional strategy with hands-on support for critical engagements
• Architectural judgment on when to lead or coach and how to define ownership

Responsabilités

• Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Applied AI Architects.
• Define and refine the strategy and operating model for Applied AI Architecture across Europe.
• Partner with Sales leadership to prioritize accounts and allocate technical resources.
• Serve as primary technical advisor for portfolios, owning account plans and milestones.
• Lead multi-threaded customer journeys from use-case qualification to production path.
• Coach team on architectures spanning models, data, integration, security, and deployment.
• Build relationships with C-suite and board-level stakeholders as executive sponsor.
• Mobilize cross-functional teams to remove blockers and deliver cohesive customer experience.
• Establish portfolio health measures including technical wins, adoption, and growth impact.
