OpenAI is seeking a Manager of Applied AI Architects in Paris to lead a senior technical team responsible for strategy, journey design, and value delivery for major customers across South EMEA. You will set operating models for technical account plans and align resources to drive measurable business impact.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership to prioritize portfolios, guide credible architectures, and ensure durable customer value and growth across ChatGPT

Qualifications

• 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture, technical account leadership, AI deployment, or technical consulting with large enterprises.
• 4+ years of people-management experience hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing technical teams.
• Experience guiding enterprise organizations from technical discovery to production adoption and measurable business impact.

Responsabilités

• Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Applied AI Architects, creating an environment of technical excellence and customer stewardship.
• Define and refine the strategy and operating model for Applied AI Architecture across Europe, aligning priorities with strategic customers.
• Partner with Sales leadership to prioritize accounts, allocate resources, and establish clear technical strategies.
• Ensure Architects serve as primary technical advisors, owning account plans, milestones, adoption priorities, and expansion opportunities.
• Lead complex customer journeys from executive vision to production value through use-case qualification and governance.
• Coach the team on architectures spanning models, applications, data, integration, identity, security, privacy, governance, and deployment.
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite and board-level stakeholders as an executive technical sponsor when needed.
• Mobilize deployment, enablement, product, engineering, security, legal, privacy, and partners to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
• Establish portfolio health with technical wins, production readiness, adoption, and measurable impact.
• Translate field patterns into actionable feedback for Product and go-to-market teams, providing reusable architecture guidance.
• Foster a culture balancing ambitious outcomes with responsible AI deployment and clear ownership.
