Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Construction EHS Manager to support a major pharmaceutical capital investment programme in France. You will lead construction health, safety and environmental management, providing assurance and oversight across the project and contractor teams.

The role requires extensive EHS experience on major capital projects in pharma or life sciences, strong knowledge of EHS legislation, and fluent French and English.

Qualifications

• Significant construction health, safety and environmental experience.
• Experience on major capital projects within pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, standards and best practice.
• Experience managing and assuring main contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong audit, inspection, risk management and incident investigation experience.
• Experience working in a live operational environment would be beneficial.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Lead construction EHS management and assurance across the programme.
• Review contractor EHS plans, RAMS and methodologies.
• Undertake site inspections, audits and assurance activities.
• Identify risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor contractor EHS performance and challenge when standards are not met.
• Support incident investigations, reporting and lessons learned.
• Promote a positive safety culture across the site.
• Collaborate with construction, engineering, project management and operations teams.
