Mace is seeking an experienced construction professional for a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility project in northern France. The role is site-based, working with client, contractors and site leadership to deliver safe, compliant construction in a live operation.

You will lead safety culture, oversee health and environmental requirements, and coordinate activities across high-risk construction scopes, ensuring product quality and operational continuity.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering major construction projects in regulated environments.
• Ability to lead and influence contractors and senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety management and contractor assurance.

Responsabilités

• Be a visible safety leader, championing Mace's Safety First culture across all construction activities.
• Managing the implementation and assurance of project health, safety and environmental requirements, ensuring full compliance with project, regulatory and site standards.
• Reviewing and challenging contractor construction methodologies, risk assessments, method statements and permit-to-work processes.
• Conducting regular site inspections, audits and safety tours to verify compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinating construction activities within an active manufacturing environment, ensuring safe delivery while protecting operational continuity and product quality.
• Mentoring and support junior construction and project management professionals.
