Aldwych Consulting is recruiting a Construction Project Engineer for a major pharmaceutical capital investment programme in France. The role focuses on coordinating engineering activities across construction, interfacing with design, engineering and site teams, and managing technical queries to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

The project involves three new production lines within an existing facility, with approximately 18–24 months remaining.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience delivering complex construction or engineering projects.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Experience managing technical queries and engineering interfaces during construction.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning and handover.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, advanced manufacturing or regulated sectors is advantageous.
• Fluency in French is essential.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate engineering activities during the construction phase.
• Interface between design, engineering and site construction teams.
• Manage technical queries, RFIs and clarifications.
• Review construction information and identify issues affecting delivery.
• Collaborate with contractors to resolve engineering challenges.
• Monitor works against designs, specs and project requirements.
• Support constructability reviews and construction planning.
• Coordinate engineering changes and ensure reviews/approval.
• Support interface management across disciplines and work packages.
• Assist with construction progress, risk and technical reporting.
• Support inspection, testing and quality activities.
• Work with commissioning teams as systems move toward completion.
• Assist with technical completion, documentation and handover.
