Aldwych Consulting is supporting a major European pharmaceutical capital programme in France with a senior Construction Manager/Project Manager to provide leadership and technical assurance during execution in a live manufacturing environment.

The role requires fluency in French and English, strong constructability oversight, and close collaboration with engineering, project management, EHS, commissioning and operations to ensure safe, compliant delivery and successful handover.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership in large, technically complex capital projects.
• Senior construction/engineering authority with client-side experience.
• Experience in consultancy, EPCM, or major contractor environments.
• Strong understanding of constructability and delivery methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of EHS risk management in regulated settings.
• Experience delivering works in live operational facilities is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Provide construction leadership and technical authority across the programme.
• Lead constructability reviews and assess methodologies, sequencing and execution strategies.
• Identify construction risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Oversee contractor construction activities and performance.
• Support construction planning, logistics and interface management.
• Ensure EHS considerations are embedded in strategy and execution.
• Provide technical challenge and assurance to contractors and project teams.
• Support resolution of complex construction and engineering issues.
• Ensure construction activities align with live manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, EHS, commissioning and operations.
• Support successful completion, commissioning and handover.
