France Agency Partnerships Lead

Job summary

Spotify is expanding its Agency development team in France. The Agency Development Lead will own strategic agency partnerships, architect commercial frameworks, and collaborate with Sales, Activation, and Product teams to drive growth in the French market.

The role focuses on C-level relationships, holding company dynamics, and driving programmatic solutions, data collaboration, and AI-enabled workflows across agency partnerships. Based in Paris with onsite work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Agency, Business Development/Partnerships, and/or Strategic Sales experience leading businesses or complex accounts.
• Senior-level relationships across major French holding companies and understanding of how decisions flow to agencies.
• Personal network with senior agency contacts across several agency groups, e.g., Publicis Groupe.
• Proven track record of growing revenue through strategic relationships.
• Strong understanding of Spotify products and ability to translate ideas clearly.
• Experience in matrix organizations and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Passion for developing high-impact presentations and leading training programs for large audiences.
• Creation and delivery of quarterly/annual business reviews for agency partners.
• Understanding of the French agency market dynamics.
• Success in fast-changing environments.
• Fluent English & French (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Be the primary liaison, internal advocate and thought leader representing Spotify with a focus on C-Level relationships in France.
• Design and negotiate commercial frameworks and initiatives that align with Spotify solutions.
• Own agency contact mapping, business reviews, education plans, and communication across assigned agencies.
• Partner with Agency Commercial, Activation, and Product teams to accelerate adoption of Spotify's automation, self-service, and programmatic buying solutions.
• Ensure strategic alignment across the FR sales org on agency priorities and terms.
• Own the commercial narrative across the agency portfolio, tracking revenue trends and opportunities.
• Develop a strategic agency narrative around Ads Manager, programmatic, data collaboration, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Create and deliver agency-focused programming with scaled impact across holding company planning and innovation teams.
• Collaborate with sales leads and Head of Ad Sales to negotiate and execute all agency partnerships.
• Represent Spotify in the advertising community by participating in industry events.
