Megève Bois by The Magic Collection Retreats is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to assist the Chef in daily kitchen operations, manage the brigade, and ensure proper storage and presentation of all ingredients and dishes. You will help oversee orders, equipment maintenance, and prep for service to maintain the house's high standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fine-dining, the legal right to work in France, a driving licence, and immediate availability.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' recent, verifiable experience in fine-dining kitchens (Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels or high-gastronomy settings).
• Legal right to work in France (EU citizenship or a work visa already obtained or in progress).
• Driving licence (own car preferred).
• Immediate or short-notice availability.
• Professionalism, attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Support the Chef in the daily management of the kitchen brigade.
• Ensure the correct storage and conservation of raw ingredients.
• Manage orders and monitor the use and upkeep of equipment.
• Deliver precise plating, consistent with the hotel's standards.
• Carry out the necessary prep for service.
• Keep the kitchen and stations clean and orderly at all times.
