Supermicro is seeking a Service Engineer to handle complex, non-standard service cases and work closely with product managers to develop detailed SOPs and knowledge base documentation. The role requires hands-on field work at customer locations and coordination with the Service team.

The candidate will provide 2nd line support to resellers and distributors, participate in service programs, and train new engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting complex server/storage and networking equipment.
• Ability to provide second-line support to resellers/distributors.
• English business-level proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Handle complex, non-standard service cases and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with Product/Service Managers to define service programs.
• Produce SOPs and knowledge-base documentation.
• Train new service engineers and travel to customer sites as needed.
• Manage day-to-day tickets in the SMC Service Portal.
