Job summary

Swisslog is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support and maintain advanced automated material handling systems at customer sites in France. You will work independently, take ownership of tasks, and contribute to delivering reliable performance while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering background with electrical skills.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good customer service skills including being able to communicate at all levels.
• Ability to analyse data and information to help develop solutions.
• Willingness to take stand-by shifts and work outside normal working hours after 1 year successful learning period.
• Able to work at heights, most warehouses are 35 metres high.
• Fluent in French.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service engineering support and maintenance for customers based in France.
• Maintain advanced material handling equipment such as pallet stacker cranes, conveyors and robotics systems.
• Ensure customer system operation is kept to maximum, adhering to instructions and standards.
• Play a key role within the Customer Service organisation.
