Job summary

Swisslog in France is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support and maintain automated material handling systems at customer sites. You will work independently, taking ownership of tasks and providing reliable service.

Responsibilities include field service support for pallet stacker cranes, conveyors and robotics, ensuring maximum system uptime, and collaborating with the Customer Service team. Travel nationwide with a company car provided; French fluency and hands-on electrical/mechanical

Qualifications

  • A mechanical engineering background with electrical skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good customer service skills including communicating at all levels.
  • Ability to analyse data to help develop solutions.
  • Willingness to take stand-by shifts and work outside normal hours after 1 year learning period.
  • Able to work at heights; most warehouses are 35 metres high.
  • Fluent in French.

Working flexible from Monday to Saturday. Company car provided and able to use for personal use.

  • You will be responsible for maintaining advanced material handling equipment such as pallet stacker cranes, conveyors and robotics systems.
  • You will make sure customer system operation is kept to the maximum at all times, ensuring adherence to all the relevant instructions and technical standards.
