Harmattan AI in the Paris region is seeking a Forward-Deployed Engineer to own test stations on the factory floor and push them toward production-grade reliability.

You will translate floor observations into actionable feedback for the engineering team, lead station bring-up with Automation Software Engineers, and ensure safe, repeatable operation of hardware and software in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production, field deployment, or industrial environment.
• Hardware wiring, fixture work and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with Python and Linux for logs, configurations and debugging.
• Fluent in French and professional English.

Responsabilités

• Own deployed test stations and make them production-grade.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and integration issues at station level.
• Identify recurring failure modes and implement lasting fixes.
• Translate floor observations into actionable feedback for engineering.
• Lead new station bring-up with Automation Software Engineers.
