OSS Ventures seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our Paris-based portfolio team. You will deploy and tailor solutions at client sites, from discovery to production, and act as the bridge between product, engineering, and operations.

You will translate client constraints into actionable specs and drive field-informed product improvements. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of field-focused experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and fluency in French and English, with willingness to travel to

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical role with a strong field component.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience deploying in industrial environments.
• Able to translate business needs into technical specs.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsabilités

• Own client deployments end to end—from discovery to production.
• Diagnose operational problems and design tailored solutions.
• Bridge product/engineering with the field; define actionable specs.
• Drive adoption through training and documentation.
• Contribute to product roadmap with field insights.
• 2–3 days on-site weekly at client locations.
