Harmattan AI is seeking a senior leader to build and run an environmental test laboratory from the ground up at our Paris-area site. You will define capabilities, select equipment, and determine what to bring in-house versus external, while recruiting and guiding a small team of technicians.

You will also support validation projects, review environmental test plans, and help transfer procedures to production as products move toward PVT and mass production.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in environmental testing and lab development.
• Ability to specify, evaluate and procure test machines and equipment.
• Experience leading a small technical team and building a new facility.
• Strong discipline in test planning, criteria, and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Define the lab capabilities and specify, evaluate, and procure climate/thermal testing equipment.
• Decide what tests to internalise vs. outsource as the lab scales.
• Set up facility, Premises selection, installation, safety and commissioning.
• Recruit and lead a lab team of two to three technicians, establish standards.
• Support validation teams and peer-review environmental sections of test plans.
• Hand over test procedures to production and ensure traceability to quality.
