Job summary

Arrow Electronics, through Arrow Global Components, is seeking a Field Application Engineer IP&E to promote interconnect, passive, electro-mechanical and power solutions. You will work with sales and engineering to deliver customized technical proposals and support customers across Europe.

The role involves visiting customers, providing expert guidance, and contributing to technically driven business growth in a dynamic sales environment.

Qualifications

Job Description

As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting net of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side. As a Field Application Engineer , you'll be working in in the technical department in tandem with sales representatives and the engineering team to sell and promote solutions regarding Interconnect, Passive, Electromechanical (IP&E) and Power Supply products to our customers. You'll be delivering customized solutions and providing technical advice and support for customers. This position can be based within commutable distance to our offices in Clamart, France.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing technical knowledge and expertise
• Supporting the business teams in the development, construction of technical proposal to the clients
• Interacting with the partners, identifying the needs and business opportunities by performing technical consultancy
• Regular customer visiting & reporting into Arrow's CRM
• Continuously being trained in the latest technologies
• In cooperation with the sales force, analyze at local level and other engineering departments, the markets and customers where to develop technical proposal actions
• Support customers' designers with technical proposals within specific macro-technologies on board & off the board

What We Are Looking For

• Relevant experience with IP&E technologies
• Electronic or Electric degrees are highly considered
• Mechanical or Mechatronic degrees will be positively considered
• Developing of customized specifications utilizing 3D software like AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor is positively considered
• Negotiating skills as well as strong communication skills
• Strong customer orientation with a sense of innovation and technology
• A real and innate passion to learn new technologies, a strong attitude for new and different challenges, be the best in what you learn
• Ability to identify and resolve partners issues with excelling at prioritization of the workload
• Ability to cooperate and to work within the team.
