Santander Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris is seeking an Associate/Vice President to originate, structure and execute Export Credit Agency (ECA)-backed and agency-supported financing transactions. You will work with corporate clients, ECAs, multilateral institutions and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

The role focuses on cross-border trade and infrastructure projects, requires strong experience in export finance, and offers a hybrid working model with opportunities across

Qualifications

• 5+ years in export finance, structured trade, project finance, or corporate banking.
• Experience with ECAs and agency-backed financing structures.
• Knowledge of BPIAE, Credendo and/or Atradius desirable.
• Experience with Eastern Europe borrowers desirable.

Responsabilités

• Identify ECA-backed and agency financing opportunities across a dedicated client portfolio.
• Negotiate term sheets and prepare credit memos and internal approvals.
• Contribute to business strategy, pipeline development and product innovation.
• Track market trends, regulatory developments and ECA program changes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, sponsors, exporters and banks.
• Support end-to-end execution up to financial close for complex ECA and agency-backed transactions.
• Act as a key contact among clients, ECAs, legal counsel and internal teams.
• Mentor junior team members and analysts.
