Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager for Payments Integrations to lead a global backend team delivering scalable payment integrations. You will own architecture across APIs, microservices, and low-latency systems, while championing AI-assisted development and secure practices.

The role combines people leadership with hands-on technical ownership, collaborating with Product, Compliance, and Business teams to support international expansion and evolving roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and growing engineering teams.
• Strong architectural leadership and ability to balance priorities.
• Significant backend experience with Go (GoLang).
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and modern integration patterns.
• Relational databases and SQL proficiency.
• Knowledge of secure SDLC and OWASP principles.
• Experience championing AI-first engineering practices.
• Proven track record in agile environments and effective collaboration.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Experience in payments or PSP integrations is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and foster technical excellence and ownership.
• Hire, mentor, coach, and support engineers with clear growth paths.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of payment integrations with PSPs and gateways.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture, reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Set engineering standards for coding, testing, observability, and maintainability.
• Ensure secure development practices and compliance considerations.
• Guide architecture for low latency, high availability backend systems.
• Evolve APIs and integration frameworks for multi-country scale.
• Promote AI-first practices and automated testing.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Business teams on roadmap delivery.
