European Payments Initiative (EPI) is hiring an Engineering Manager for Security to embed security at the core of our technology and culture. You will shape your team's vision and goals, and drive continuous process improvements aligned with business objectives.

You will lead security and platform engineers across Europe, implementing secure-by-design practices, IAM/RBAC, and cloud security, while collaborating with multiple teams to balance innovation with protection.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of professional cyber security engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams delivering scalable infrastructure.
• Willingness to spend ~50% hands-on work and manage risks.
• Ability to contribute to both technical and business strategy.
• Strong security engineering background with secure infrastructure platforms.

Responsabilités

• Shape and execute the security engineering strategy across SDLC.
• Lead and mentor security and platform engineers to grow technically.
• Architect secure cloud environments and implement IAM/RBAC practices.
• Strengthen compliance readiness with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Collaborate across Security, Platform, and Product teams to deliver well-documented solutions.
