Job summary

Alma Wallet, the fintech leader in France, is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager in Paris. You will deliver the Alma Wallet roadmap, expand payment methods, and strengthen the engineering squad across mobile and backend domains.

You will partner with Product and Design to ship high-impact features while ensuring reliability and scale. You will manage a cross-functional team, drive architecture discussions, and help shape engineering practices in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing or leading engineers.
• Hands-on technical credibility in mobile or back-end engineering.
• Experience delivering products in a cross-functional squad.
• Fluency in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Alma Wallet roadmap: the Alma card, payment methods, identity verification and Open Banking in the mobile app.
• Lead and grow the Alma Wallet squad by supporting engineers’ development and hiring.
• Improve team processes and collaboration with Product, Design and other squads.
• Deliver a strategic payment roadmap covering the Alma card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Open Banking.
