Siemens Smart Buildings Program – Summer 2026 Energy Engineering Internship (Plano, TX or Austin, TX). We are seeking qualified candidates for our Summer 2026 Smart Buildings Program as an Energy Engineering role. This internship can be based in Plano, Texas or Austin, Texas.
Transform the everyday with us. This program is designed to showcase technical aptitude and problem-solving to ensure customers can work in a comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient environment. You will gain hands-on experience, real-world skills, and professional development while contributing to Siemens’ smart building solutions.
You’ll make an impact by rotating through energy engineering, sales, and core business areas (HVAC, Lighting, and other Building Automation systems and components) to gain a holistic understanding of how Siemens delivers smart building solutions.

The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Interns are eligible to contribute to our 401K program.
