We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC for an:

Electrical Supervisor (HV Cable Laying)

Job Purpose:

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on DEWA Substations Projects, supervising site works related to 11 kV and 33 kV substation installation & commissioning, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion.

Main Duties include:

1. Receiving and allocating job orders from planning to contractors.
2. Studying CAR with ring diagram and understanding NOC drawings.
3. Preparing weekly and daily plans for cable laying and excavation.
4. Providing necessary NOCs and documents to contractors; closing job orders in SAP.
5. Reconciliation of materials and manpower, certifying contractor invoices.
6. Arranging coordination meetings with contractors to monitor progress and meet targets.
7. Coordinating with authorities and internal departments to resolve site issues.
8. Maintaining confidentiality of information.
9. Adhering to DEWA safety standards and OH&S management system.
10. Managing material issues and returns, inspecting and reconciling monthly.
11. Certifying as-built drawings for GIS updates and final approvals.
12. Conducting site visits to ensure safety and quality compliance, managing delays and damages.

Profile:

Graduated in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in HV cable laying, underground utilities, and substation infrastructure.

Fluent in English with good interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
