NXTSTP MEXICO is seeking an experienced EHS Director to lead and align environmental, health, and safety programs across operations in Occitanie. You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities include developing standards, conducting audits, coordinating emergency planning, and reporting EHS performance to management. Strong leadership and multilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading EHS teams with regulatory compliance focus.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Experience developing and leading comprehensive EHS programs.
  • Experience conducting safety audits and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilités

  • Lead, coordinate, and support EHS personnel in developing and implementing programs that promote and strengthen a proactive safety culture.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop EHS team members while supporting their professional growth and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable internal and external EHS regulations, standards, and requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with regulatory agencies and authorities.
  • Develop and implement standards, procedures, and initiatives focused on incident prevention, environmental protection, and pollution prevention.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, assessments, and management reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response and preparedness plans.
  • Define, coordinate, and oversee EHS training programs to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely and compliantly.
  • Provide support and leadership during federal and state regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Collect, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Prepare management reports highlighting EHS trends, risks, performance gaps, and recommended improvement actions.
  • Analyze accident, injury, near-miss, and incident data to identify trends and opportunities for prevention.
  • Develop, coordinate, and/or conduct EHS audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
  • Provide EHS expertise and guidance for new, modified, and existing processes.
  • Analyze EHS statistics, records, and documentation to identify trends, risks, and areas requiring corrective action.
  • Promote safe work practices and behaviors while supporting employee development and accountability.
  • Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution of EHS issues.
  • Identify, propose, and implement ergonomic improvements to reduce workplace risks and enhance employee well-being.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen EHS performance and operational excellence.
