Job summary

Mercury Engineering is seeking an EHS Advisor in Paris to lead environmental, health and safety management on projects. You will implement EHS systems, ensure compliance with statutory provisions, and coordinate risk assessments, safe plans of action and permits to work on site.

The role demands 3+ years of site EHS experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. The position is based in Paris with a focus on projects across sectors, requiring proactive safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Relevant third level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety.
• 3 years minimum site experience on EHS matters.
• Knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation.
• Flexibility in working patterns and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EHS management systems for all projects are implemented and maintained.
• Adhere to Mercury Engineering safety management system and applicable legislation.
• Coordinate risk assessments, method statements, safe work plans and permits to work.
• Conduct regular site audits and inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Provide EHS guidance to management and site personnel.
• Support subcontractors to comply with EHS policies and procedures.
