Job summary

Sotalent in France is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a permanent team, focusing on security integrated into infrastructure and software lifecycles. You will build secure, automated, and resilient environments while keeping production stable and scalable.

The role covers CI/CD pipeline management, IaC with Terraform and Ansible, container orchestration, hybrid cloud provisioning, and SecOps practices. A 2–3 year IT degree is required; junior or senior profiles are welcome.

Qualifications

We are currently representing a key player in the insurance brokerage sector who is looking to strengthen their technical team by hiring a DevOps Engineer. This is a permanent position aimed at integrating security practices into the heart of infrastructure management and software development lifecycles.

The successful candidate will focus on creating secure, automated, and resilient environments. You will be a central figure in ensuring that production systems remain stable while driving modern deployment methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Management and optimization of CI CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Infrastructure as Code development using Terraform and Ansible to automate configurations
• Deployment and maintenance of containerized clusters and orchestration platforms
• Provisioning and monitoring of hybrid cloud architectures
• Implementing SecOps standards including automated vulnerability scanning for code and infrastructure
• Linux system administration with a focus on high performance and reliability
• Incident response management and platform monitoring to ensure operational continuity

Required Profile

You should hold at least a two or three year degree in Information Technology. We are open to both junior profiles with a successful initial experience and more senior experts looking for a new challenge.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from 40k to 45k Euros gross depending on experience
